Do you train models on my data?
No. Your Roots, your Cones, your Rings — none of it is used to train any model, ours or anyone else’s. We’ll never make this clearer than this sentence.
Can I export my history?
Yes, always. JSON for the structured data, Markdown for the human-readable Cones, PDF for the rings reports. Export is a button, not a support ticket.
What if Bristlecone goes away?
Your data is yours, exportable in formats listed above. We will give 12 months’ notice and a working export endpoint either way. We’d rather wind down honestly than disappear quietly.
Refunds?
Within 30 days of your first annual payment, no questions. After that, a pro-rata refund for whichever season you didn’t finish.
Cancellation?
A button. No exit interview, no “wait, you qualify for a discount” popup, no holds. Annual plans cancel at term end; monthly plans cancel within the day.
Do you have a free tier?
No. Free tiers tend to compromise the product for the people paying for it. We’d rather charge fairly than build for the freeloader.
